Hoover CH30000 Best value available.
I am surprised and very pleased at the quality of the parts for this price. This item replaced a Little Hero that is useless. The Hoover is light, the extra long cord is a big advantage, and the suction is terrific. I use it mainly on wood and tile floors to pick up cat litter that has been tracked from the litter box. I have not tried it on carpet yet, but I expect it will do very well, especially in hard to reach spaces where the cats like to sleep.

I bought this vacuum for our three story house. It is great on the carpet stairs, its light weight, long cord, and very powerful. We also use it for our wood floors and some of the other carpet areas, I love the vacuum and would recommend it to my friends.

Hoover CH30000 Lightweight but strong.
I wanted a small vacuum to use in small places. Like around baseboard and between the washer/dryer. Also one that I could life up to clean tops of drapes and door frames. This is the one. The other excellent reviews convinced me to buy it. I recommend it.

I have purchased two of these vacuums. The first one my kids ripped the hose so it quit working properly. I have all hard wood floors and 4 dogs that shed. This vacuum does a great job with pet hair. The built in filter also doubles as the bag so no need to buy bags and you can wash the filter. We use this vacuumon a daily basis. I suggest buying the carrying case as I did with it because you can put it over your shoulder and go room to room easily. The cord is extra long and reaches pretty far. I can do my downstairs without moving the plug. All in all I love this vacuum for bare floors. I do not have carpet in my home so I am only giving my opinion based on bare floor use.

Years ago I used to sell these in a little vacuum shop and thought they were fantastic. Many years later I know live in a small condo and needed a small, but powerful vacuum. I saw one of our janitors at work using one and just had to find one for myself. It is every bit the fine product that it was years ago and perhaps even better. So happy to have found my PortaPower!
